Mar 23, 2018 The Do Not Disturb feature prevents you from seeing notifications or receiving phone calls while it’s active. To turn it on, open up the Notification Center by clicking the icon at top-left, then scroll up to reveal two hidden options. Like this: Toggle the “Do Not Disturb” switch and you won’t see any notifications until tomorrow morning. On the Notifications screen, first click on the App for which you want to Enable or Disable Notifications (See image below) 4. To disable Notifications for the selected app, set the Alert Style to None (See image above). Whenever you feel the need to enable notifications on Mac, change the Alert Style from None to either Alerts or Banners.

Do Not Disturb silences incoming calls and notifications. It automatically turns on when your Mac is connected to a TV or projector.
To choose when Do Not Disturb turns on and off, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Notifications. Do Not Disturb settings are at the top of the sidebar:
