On your Mac, go to System Preferences, select Security & Privacy, click the lock, and then enter your local administrator username and password to make the following changes:
  • On the General tab, under 'Allow apps downloaded from:', select App Store and identified developers.
  • On the Privacy tab, for Camera, Microphone, and Screen Recording (on the left), make sure KalturaCapture is selected (on the right).
PhishMe Report Phishing
Attempting to report a message with the application fails with an error dialog.
Submit a report manually by sending the message with full headers to phishing@iu.edu.
Print BYOD drivers on IUware
Printing works if the drivers were installed before upgrading; after upgrading, installing the drivers produces an 'package is incompatible' error.
Use the mobile print website, or print from a Student Technology Center computer.
Pulse Secure
Previous versions of Pulse Secure were not compatible with macOS 10.15 (Catalina).
Download and install Pulse Secure from IUware. For more, see KB44202 - macOS Catalina (10.15) support.
Two-Step Login (Duo)
Content restrictions in macOS can prevent the Duo prompt from displaying correctly. The Duo prompt may be replaced with a gray box.

  1. Pulse Secure is qualifying MacOS Catalina with the current beta release. You have to update it to the latest one. Pulse official site also confirmed this: Can customers try Pulse Secure products on macOS Catalina? Pulse Secure encourages customers to try the MacOS Catalina with the latest PDC clients of 9.0 and 9.1.
  2. I have installed Pulse Secure VPN utility version 5.2.5 and it automatically opens at startup. Unfortunately, the app doesn't behave like any other, i.e., I cannot disable it through: System Prefe.
  3. Pulse Secure v9. 2700 Zanker Road, Suite 200, United States. 15, Apple company has launched the new version of macOS Operating system which is called macOS Catalina 10. 15, you will receive a pop-up that will guide you through the process of enabling your Webroot software. Log and ASL which has been seemingly cut down in Catalina (10. 15 (Catalina) The standard EITS build for Mac systems is based on macOS 10.
  4. Oct 16, 2019  In macOS Catalina 10.15, when you open some apps, especially the one's, you get a message app installer can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
  5. Previous versions of Pulse Secure were not compatible with macOS 10.15 (Catalina). Download and install Pulse Secure from IUware. For more, see KB44202 - macOS Catalina (10.15) support.
