Apr 29, 2016 I purchased a MacBook Pro Retina Early 2015 Model and is currently running OS X 10.11.4. From day one, there has been an inconsistent issue where my whole Mac would freeze as soon as I try playing a video. This did not occur consistently so I thought it had been a small issue which would have been fixed with an update. The latest operating system is generally always best because after an operating system is dropped, third party programs soon drop support. Within three years after a macOS operating system is dropped, internet browsers no longer receive updates. I have a 2015 Macbook Pro with a El Capitan OS X, should I upgrade to Mojave? My worries are that the macbook, which is now running smoothly, will end up getting slow because of the new OS X. It happened to me before when I upgrade my iPad 2 to a new iOS version.
